The decked out bash incorporated cultural elements inspired by the cult-classic album that was released on November 1st, in 1988.

Slick Rick, dressed head-to-toe as “Frankenstein” sat upon a luxury thrown as he was greeted by guests, fans, family and colleagues including the likes of Busta Rhymes, Lil Cease (Junior Mafia) and more. DJ Clark Kent, DJ Red Alert and DJ Kaos provided sounds for the evening. Sponsored by Def Jam Recordings, Sweet Chick and Moet & Chandon Champagne, the party featured commemorating photo-booths, passed chicken and waffle spreads, a customized ice cream truck, money sack gift bags that included bottles of champagne and more.
