Bellzey Reminds Us Why He’s One Of Brixton’s Most Iconic Rappers

Following the release of his highly anticipated mixtape ‘Live and You Learn’ Brixton rapper Bellzey continues to show us exactly why he gained a reputation for creating unforgettable, hard-hitting bangers and his new ‘Ye’ freestyle cements his status even more.

The viral sensation Burna Boy’s ‘My ye is different to your ye’ that catapulted Osh into mainstream has sparked an influx of artists stepping up and dropping their take on the instrumental and UK rap heavyweight Bellzey is next in line. He delivers his trademark flow and smooth vocals with ease, making it levels above the original and blowing all previous freestyles out the water.

Bellzey describes himself as “the rose that grew from the concrete” and his most recent release ‘I Tried’ supports this statement, showing him looking introspectively at his life. With a hook from MDXP, the track highlights fears of failure and the struggles that come with success and show Bellzey once again displaying his unique and natural talent for rapping – the track was dropped shortly after hitting 2 million views on the now iconic ‘What’s Gwarning’ featuring Ard Adz.

This freestyle reminds us exactly why Bellzey is one of the most iconic rappers in the Brixton, showing he can drop fire and deliver the same A-class flow on just about any beat. With new music on the way including a joint mixtape with rapper Little Torment releasing early next year, you’re going to want to keep locked into this young artist’s 2019 movements.
