East London collective #Pound release ‘Eyes Closed’

#Pound have made a strong return to 2019 with their new explosive track ‘Eyes Closed’ after the release of their debut album 16.12.18.

The slow-paced, sensual and exotic track takes over your senses with its rich melodies and mesmerising rhythm. The laid-back verse flow from Darkboi compliments the soothing chorus courtesy from Smxk£ laced with afrobeats and r&b vibes.

The trio dropped the video via their own channel and have previously been supported by tastemakers GRM Daily, Melody Kane, Yxng Bane and Don-E. Whilst still being relatively new to the scene, the guys have roots in music with Smxke a vocalist/songwriter/producer begun his music career at 15 teaming up with grime legend Gods Gift. Whilst Darkboi was part of ‘Boyz In The Hood’ recruited by another grime legend Crazy Titch.

#Pound create music influenced by different genres and blend them together to create a unique, refreshing and colourful sound and ‘Eyes Closed’ is no different.
