The Hollywood Hills home of Jonas Tahlin, CEO of Absolut Elyx, was transformed into a magical balloon filled wonderland this past Saturday for a private birthday party for celebrity publicist Dawn Miller, with over 300 balloons filling the ceiling of the main room of the house and then an impressive balloon archway creating a stunning centerpiece to the party. The balloons became a popular photo moment for guests to capture memories from the party, with a stunning backdrop of the LA skyline it created an instant photo moment. A second feature of the party was large light installation by the edge of the pool that read “YOUNG AF” which lit up at night and kept with the fun vibe of the party.

Themed “Sparkle & Shine” the more than 150 guests did not disappoint, with many of the crowd dressing up for the occasion wearing sequins and sparkly dresses.  British fashion designer Julia Clancey took the theme to the next level with her custom sequin kaftan which perfectly fit with the stylish and flamboyant theme of the night. Celebrating her 40^th birthday the British born publicist Dawn Miller chose to wear a silver sequin dress by Alice & Olivia and was joined by her fiancé Slim Keskes and daughter Sienna May.

Guests enjoyed light bites and cocktails early in the evening as the sun set over the Hollywood hills home and sipped on the specialty cocktails created for the night by Absolut Elyx. Featuring fun names for the birthday girl the Absolut Elyx cocktails were themed “Since you’ve been Dawn”, “Dawn’s Glitterati” and the most popular “Natural Born Miller” which were a playful hit with the guests.

As the sun went down over the Hollywood hills home the DJ took to the decks in the living room to spin a mixture of pop, dance and hip hop bringing all the friends and guests to the dance floor. A highlight of the night was when multi-platinum singer/songwriter Sean Kingston, sang his classic hit “Beautiful Girls” on the dance floor to Dawn and her friends and when the chorus hit the whole room was singing along. Later in the night Sean Kingston and his family and friends all danced to the singer’s new song “Peace of Mind” which had everyone smiling and laughing as they danced along to the upbeat Caribbean pop tune.

Elsewhere at the party Rachel McCord and Lady Victoria Hervey and were seen chatting and taking photos together, actress Meital Dohan, wearing striking red glasses and pants, enjoyed cocktails by the pool, while DJ’s The EC Twins had everyone laughing as they playfully joked with everyone on the patio.  Guests were also entertained by mentalist Johnny Wu who was showcasing his impressive skills and had everyone in awe around the party, while dancing with the stars professional dancer and current semifinalist Keo Motsepe also joined Dawn and her friends on the dance floor.

Close to midnight guests headed to the outdoor patio for a surprise birthday cake from Absolut Elyx, the cake had three tiers and was topped with a copper globe glitter ball and the numbers 40 for the special birthday. As the cake came out it lit up with sparklers and then a second surprise giant bottle of Absolut Elyx was also presented to Dawn from the CEO of Absolut Elyx Jonas Tahlin and Global Brand Director Miranda Dickson as everyone sang happy birthday.

Guests then hit the dance floor to dance the night away until ending around 2am. A late-night hit with guests was the arrival of pizza to snack on thanks to the D’Amore’s Pizza truck which arrived to serve its delicious pizza slices to guests, all featuring the new Pizza Girl sauce from Caroline D’Amore.
