The private home of Jonas Tahlin, CEO of Absolut Elyx, was the location of an intimate dinner on Thursday evening. The dinner party was to celebrate the new Pizza Girl by Caroline D’Amore pasta sauce and was hosted by Paris Jackson, with a stylish group of celebrities and LA fashionistas turning out to chow down on spaghetti with the new delicious Pizza Girl sauce.
Pizza Girl creator, DJ and daughter of the legendary Pizza restaurateur Joe D’Amore, Caroline D’Amore, arrived wearing a spectacular sequined romper with husband Bobby Alt. She was soon joined by Paris Jackson, who was hosting the evening for her close friend in celebration of the new Pizza Girl sauce she has created. Dressed in a Boho-inspired ensemble and joined by boyfriend Gabriel Glenn, the couple took playful photos with the pasta and sauce, enjoying time with Caroline D’Amore and friends before taking their seats at the beautiful outside tables for the sunset dinner. Ashlee Simpson & Evan Ross arrived arm-in-arm and were spotted mingling with musician Austin Brown and all happily enjoying the beautiful night and sprawling outdoor grounds of the Hollywood Hills home. Songwriter Bonnie McKee, socialite and model Rachel McCord and stylist Chloe Bartoli were also spotted at the event, enjoying the specialty cocktails served in Absolut Elyx’s signature copper coupes. Actor Emile Hirsch and musician and star of MTV’s The Hills, Ryan Cabrera, also mingled and chatted with guests.
As guests first arrived they were greeted with specialty cocktails made with Absolut Elyx, all created especially for the evening with cocktail names themed on the party and appropriately named Italian Sunset, That’s D’Amore and Giltterati, including delicious ingredients such as Lillet Rose, Rosemary Sherbet, Yuzu, Cherry Soda and Absolut Elyx. The most popular cocktail of the night was not surprisingly, “That’s D’Amore.” From the Martinique room of the house singer Effie Passero impressed guests with her powerful performance and renditions of modern-day anthems. Gathering around the piano guests watched her performance and enjoyed their cocktails.
At the sun started to set the guests were all seated at the magical poolside dining table, complete with bespoke floral arrangement that created a stunning setting for the dinner. Just before 8pm Caroline thanked guests for attending and shared with them her passion to create Pizza Girl, an organic pizza sauce, made with authentic Italian ingredients. Guests were them treated to a range of dishes from the D’Amore’s Pizza menu all featuring the new Pizza Girl sauce. Beautiful bowls of pasta and pizzas were served all featuring the tasty new Pizza Girl sauce recipe which was an instant hit with the guests who all commented how fresh and flavorful the Pizza Girl sauce tasted.
