Dela Kay’s “Think About You” Offers A New Side To Her Artistry

If you’ve been a fan of Dela Kay you may have known her from her past singles, “All My Love,” “Make You Mine,” and “I Got The Night.” Dela’s music has always had a signature electronic style and expansive production. Now she’s exploring more pop elements with “Think About You.” A single expressing the internal insecurities people face while in a relationship.

Dela’s shift came from a desire to write pop music that was different. Dela says, “A lot of people are craving real pop music.” According to a press release, “Think About You’ is about the overwhelming wave of worrying when you don’t know where your significant other is, what they’re doing or what they’re feeling. An emotional task where you don’t know if you can make it work alone, but knowing it’s the only chance for the relationship.”

“Think About You” is produced by Michael Kight and the single is the second single distributed with Sony. Dela’s career has continued to grow quickly especially this year. Having achieved over a million streams on Spotify, to charting on both The Top 150 Global and Top 200 Independent Charts on DNT, she is making a name for herself in not only electronic but now pop music.
