Elyahu Digs Deep Into His Personal Growth On “Too Many Times”

Artist and producer Elyahu, has released his single “Too Many Times.”  The track combines introspective lyricism with contemporary club drum patterns that bolster the melody of the song. The sleek single tells a personal story of growth and realization in under three minutes. “Too Many Times” is now available for download and streaming and digital music platforms worldwide.

Self-produced under his production moniker, Young Kippur, “Too Many Times” includes “elements of the modern ‘SoundCloud rap’ sound,” explains Elyahu. Still, the track demands attention with its distinct storytelling woven into the verses and hooks, unlike the traditional ‘Soundcloud rap.’ Elyahu captures the listener through vivid and creative illustrations of his struggle and perseverance.  He writes in his second verse, “Baby I’ve been on a dive, fighting to survive, I polish under pressure like a diamond in a mine.”  The layers and interworking of synths cradle the chorus in a balanced bubble.  An ethereal, intergalactic sound-selection, combined with hard hitting 808s generate endless circuits of body movement.

Elyahu adopted his moniker from the Hebrew name for Elijah which translates to “prophet,” paying homage to his Jewish heritage. With his eloquent, yet raw flow and lustrous production, Elyahu aspires to become a prophet in his own right. Citing a wide range of influences ranging from Toro Y Moi, to Sting, to Young Thug, he boasts a musical palate that is certain to resonate with the pickiest of ears.

“Too Many Times” is now available to stream and download on digital music platforms.
