Global Pop Star Inigo Pascual Drops First Single Off Upcoming Album “Options”
International Pop star Iñigo Pascual, the latest in Asian cross-Atlantic talent to go global, released a single “Options” the title track off Iñigo’s first solo international album. The track is a preview illustrating the overall theme of the upcoming LP- the battle between the mind and the heart, and what happens when you’re stuck in the middle. The single’s upbeat tempo and broad appeal gives a high shock-value peek at a promising new era for this young global talent. “Options” is the heartbeat of 2019; an infectious dance anthem that tells the story of an all-too-familiar situation in the millennial world of dating – having many romantic choices, but choosing to be with one. This back and forth in Iñigo’s head is framed in Options through a blissful summery-R&B fringed track that’s sure to be a summer time hit.
About the song Inigo says, “I met Harv, the producer of the song, “Options” back in December 2018 and we had about a month to get stuff together. I had some songs I had prepared already, for our session as that was the normal process in producing songs, but he surprised me and said we are going to work on something from scratch. We talked about what I was going through at the time and we worked on “Options” with a really talented songwriter named Felisha, who had the melody and beat in her head already. The words originally were “I have Options,” but I changed them to “I HAD Options,” knowing that would be more appreciated by a girl in hearing that the “Options” were in past tense, and how all those other girls don’t matter when you find that special one. It’s an upbeat song that makes you feel good as soon as the beat and bass come in, it’s a summer anthem and I love seeing people’s reactions to it when I perform it live or in the club.”
