Ari Lennox Releases a Cover of Dionne Warwick’s “Walk on By” Only on Amazon Music’s R&B Rotation

Today, rising R&B star Ari Lennox has released a cover of Dionne Warwick’s iconic single “Walk on By” only on Amazon Music. The track is featured as part of the launch of R&B Rotation, a brand-new global playlist from Amazon Music that spotlights the best new R&B tracks out each week.

Updating every Friday, the playlist offers a deep dive into the best in modern R&B, featuring everyone from exciting new talents like Ari Lennox to established stars such as Khalid.

“I picked walk on by because I’m going through a break up and felt it speaking to me,” said Lennox. “I’m also very inspired by Dionne and wanted to honor her.”

Ari Lennox’s Amazon Original comes after a whirlwind year for the newly minted R&B/soul star. Shea Butter Baby, her debut studio album, was released earlier this year to critical acclaim and commercial success, peaking at #7 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
