Bet Networks Announces Comedian, Entertainer and Actor Lil Duval as Host of The 2019 Bet “Hip Hop Awards”

The 2019 BET “Hip Hop Awards” will return to the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, GA, hosted by comedian, actor and entertainer Lil Duval with the broadcast premiere on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 8:00PM ET/PT.

Roland Powell, best known by his stage name, Lil Duval, is no stranger to the spotlight and once center stage lights up the room filled with his infectious humor, individual style and charm. Jacksonville, Florida’s own, Lil Duval, has made various TV, film and comedic appearances from BET’s Comic View, Guy Code, Wild ‘n Out, Hip Hop Squares, Ridiculousness, All Star Comedy Jam, Meet the Blacks, Scary Movie 5, School Dance, Grow House and many more.

Recently, Lil Duval has turned to his musical skillset releasing top records including certified gold single – “Smile” ft. Snoop Dogg & Ball Greezy, “Pull Up” ft. Ty Dolla $ign and the hot topic of discussion single – “Black Men Don’t Cheat” ft. Charlamagne Tha God. Lil Duval is currently traveling throughout the states on his “Living My Best Life Tour”, as well as recently releasing new track, “City Boy Wit It”, a dance song highlighting the wave of the trending topic ‘Hot Girl Summer vs. City Boy Summer’. Lil Duval continues to prove he is a versatile talent, here to make the world more care free through his music and comedy.

Jesse Collins, CEO of Jesse Collins Entertainment, will serve as Executive Producer of the BET “Hip Hop Awards” 2019 along with Connie Orlando, BET Head of Programming and Jeannae Rouzan–Clay, Vice President of Specials, Jesse Collins Entertainment.
