Can an aroma-therapuetic oil based product be the answer to health and wellness self care? Russ Beard Grooming is betting it can, and they have the products to prove it!

Essential oils have for some time now been used as an all natural alternative for bringing soothing relief to everything from stress and anxiety to depression. Russ Beard Grooming has taken this concept to another level. By merging the health and wellness benefits of aroma-therapeutic essential oils with the beauty regiments of beard grooming, RBG is giving a new meaning to the concept of self care. The idea is the brainchild of Malik Moor of New Orleans, LA.

Malik began using essential oils as a way of coping with his own growing depression. Yet rather than carry around oils all day, Malik decided to oil his beard. The idea was to keep the calming aroma benefits of the essential oils lingering with him all day. What he soon discovered was the sheen and luster the oils gave to his beard was a visible, added cosmetic benefit. People began to notice and compliment him on the appearance of his beard and Malik quickly realized he was on to something. Creating his own brand of custom oils and teaming up with Friend and Instagram personality; Comedian Lonnie, Malik began introducing the beard oils locally in small pop up shops. However, things would get worse before they got better. Life happened and Malik found himself homeless and living in his car. Throughout it all Malik leaned on the calming effects of the beard oils to keep his composure. It wasn’t long before his faith was rewarded. As word of his products grew, so did his customer base. In 2019, Malik met and teamed up with Veteran Actor, Isaiah Washington of the Award-Winning show GREY’S ANATOMY and Russ Beard Grooming’s dream of breaking into the mainstream world became a reality.

Mr. Washington reached out to Nicole Hardy of 1925 Consulting to help give RBG the ammunition it needed to take the world by storm! With plans to open an RBG kiosk in Phoenix, AZ and get RBG products on shelves Nationwide – it is only a matter of time before you see these products in a store near you! Malik also recently created a women’s line of products “RBG for Her”- developed with the same focus on mental health and wellness awareness, beauty and care.
