pineappleCITI Releases ‘Recognize’ and Announces Signing to Red Bull Records

Red Bull Records is pleased to announce the addition of pineappleCITI to its growing roster of R&B and rap artists.  As part of the signing announcement, pineappleCITI releases her first official single ‘Recognize’ via her new recording partnership with Red Bull Records. In 2018, pineappleCITI inked a deal with Red Bull Songs, the music-publishing arm of Red Bull Media House, and will now distribute music worldwide through the expanded brand partnership.

“A dynamic songwriter, singer and rapper, pineappleCITI is truly a triple-threat and we are thrilled to be working with her at Red Bull Records,” says Managing Director of Red Bull Records, Greg Hammer. “We look forward to working with pineappleCITI and assisting her on a path to breakout success.”

Equal parts recording artist and acclaimed songwriter, pineappleCITI has penned songs for artists such as Kelly Rowland and Twista. Originally from Newark, Jersey, the ‘Brick City’ native has been making her mark on the music industry since the introduction of her viral hit song ‘Rose Colored’ released in 2016. After suffering severe injuries from a near-fatal car crash the same year of her viral hit, PineappleCITI never surrendered and continued to hone her craft.

“My decision to sign with Red Bull Records was informed by the amazing family vibe of the team,” says pineappleCITI. “They really believe in my music, my brand and are willing to take this journey with me for all the right reasons. The entire A&R team, Greg Hammer and label staff made me feel right at home immediately.”

The debut single ‘Recognize’ from pineappleCITI offers a preview of her versatility as a singer and rapper, merging both performance styles into the same record. The R&B centric record features laidback production, melodic lyricism and a familiar rhythmic sound. The song ‘Recognize’ is a preview of new music coming from pineappleCITI set for release in 2020.

Earlier this year, pineappleCITI released ‘neonBLUE’, a 10-track LP featuring hit songs ‘I Need A Coupe’ and the D’Angelo influenced ‘Who’.
