Artist YONAS Invites Fan Into His Dojo With New Hit ‘Karate Kid’

Decorated Hip Hop artist YONAS pulls no punches with his latest single “Karate Kid”, a powerful and lyrically impressive homage to the late Karate Kid actor Rob Garrison. The track precedes his second headlining tour through Europe where he’ll hit 12 stops with fellow rapper Justin Stone.

“Karate Kid” channels the competitive spirit of Hip Hop, drowning out other rappers with his infectious delivery amidst energetic production. Tracks like this are hard to come by in today’s music industry climate. Make no mistake, there’s nothing wrong with a melodic trap vibe to set the mood, but “Karate Kid” gives its listeners strong personality and a unique lyrical skill that would earn the respect of even the most dedicated Hip Hop heads. The unique ability to deliver the braggadocios nature of respected lyricism alongside catchy pop hooks is relatively unmatched. This is something YONAS undoubtedly does well.

Originally from NYC, YONAS has acquired over 500+ million streams cross-platform since his first EP release in 2009 where he won a Billboard Songwriting Award for his single “Banga”. Quick to follow his early successes, YONAS was also featured as one of XXL’s ‘Breakout Artists’, landing him a 50-city nationwide tour. He has shared stages and studios with the likes of Schoolboy Q, Macklemore, Kendrick Lamar, Logic, Juicy J and several other household names. YONAS has undoubtedly remained a powerful presence in this industry, producing hit after hit leading up to the new decade.

You can listen to “Karate Kid” on Spotify and other streaming services. And you can follow YONAS on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
