Malaynah celebrates her new EP Kaleidoscope at Empire release party

Multi-talented recording artist, Malaynah, has released her debut EP, Kaleidoscope on Empire. The Hype Magazine was at the listening session in Hollywood, CA. Also in attendance were rappers EDiDON, Fredro Starr, Gotti, Caviar and many more who came out to support Malaynah’s new release. Malaynah is moving up in the music industry with co-signs from Cardi B and Tyga.

Malaynah signed with EMPIRE in April 2019, and her debut EP, Kaleidoscope, shows her versatility, lyrical ability, range, and uniqueness with nine tracks. Tracks include: Wait A Minute, Too Late, Outta My Face, Andalé, Karma, How You Want It, Mire Lo, Trust Me, and All Night. The East LA native worked with famed producers Rian Williams, Supah Mario, KP and Geronimo to create a masterpiece for her first EP. It starts with traditional hip hop and ends with a pop Latin reggae tone. ‘Mire Lo,’ ‘Trust Me,’ and ‘Andalé’ are a nod to her heritage as they include Spanish lyrics.

Malaynah went viral with her freestyle to Cardi B’s ‘Money’ after Cardi B reposted the freestyle to her Instagram and Twitter. Almost overnight, the video went viral, with 12.5 million people watching. Malaynah received a co-sign from Tyga, who followed and reposted her after she uploaded a freestyle to his song ‘Taste.’ Malaynah prides herself on writing all of her songs and says, “working on this project was an eye-opening experience because not only did I get to work with incredibly talented people, but my music made me discover new sides to myself I never knew existed.
