Pouya Delivers Deluxe Album ‘The South Got Something To Say’

Announces 23-City European Tour with Boobie Lootaveli

South Florida lyricist Pouya has given his fans an early holiday surprise with the release of the deluxe album of ‘The South Got Something To Say’ adding four brand new tracks – released via Pouya’s self-started label The Buffet Boys.

Pouya hinted to fans that something was on the way with the release of his avant-garde short-film for single “life?…lol”.  Originally released July 1st, ‘The South Got Something To Say’ shows the 305 rapper’s undeniable growth from when he first broke out into the music scene. Introducing a more accessible sound, the deluxe album still gives off a familiar feeling of unconventional and genre-breaking talent intertwined with uncomfortable themes of grief, hardship and mortality, he’s best known for.

After concluding tour with Ski Mask The Slump God in Pouya’s hometown of Miami, FL on 12/11, the rapper is following up with his own Europe tour, where he and long-time associate Boobie Lootaveli will be hitting 23 cities  starting February 4 in London, UK, and ending March 8 in Cologne, Germany.

Pouya will also be giving 30 lucky winners the VIP package, which includes a meet & greet with Pouya, photo op., t-shirt, and tour laminate before the show.

Pouya is single-handedly bringing the raw sounds of the underground to the masses. The bubbling Miami rapper, née Kevin Pouya, entirely embodies the modern underground rap star: born of the internet, bred on the streets, bored of the mainstream hip-hop world and blessed with those magical bars and flows. To this day, Pouya and his Buffet Boys record label remain fully independent and fully in control: He’s never released on a major record label or even an indie outside of his own.

The rap world officially met Pouya in 2016 via his self-released debut full-length album, Underground Underdog.’ Produced by renowned electronic producer/DJ Getter, Underground Underdog’ introduces Pouya’s raw and rugged vocal flow, precise rap deliveries and hard lyrical prowess. The album was a commercial success upon release, peaking at the #2 spot on iTunes’ Hip-Hop/Rap albums chart and reaching the Top 10 on iTunes’ overall albums chart. The album also gained widespread critical acclaim: In November 2016, Pouya performed album track “Energy” alongside producer Getter on late-night TV show Last Call with Carson Daly.
