Method Man & Redman, Young M.A to Headline 5th Annual National Cannabis Festival in Washington, D.C.

Today, the National Cannabis Festival (NCF)  announced Method Man & Redman, Young M.A, Antibalas and the Backyard Band as the featured artists for their fifth annual celebration on Saturday April 18, and plans for events to mark 4/20 throughout April in the lead up to the Festival.

“We’re incredibly proud to bring National Cannabis Festival back for year five! It’s hard to believe that an idea shared among friends five years ago has developed into a celebration of cannabis legalization and culture for the entire mid-Atlantic region. This year we’ll be celebrating 4/20 all month long with a variety of events around D.C., culminating with the festival on April 18.” said Caroline Phillips, founder of the National Cannabis Festival and Policy Summit, “So much is changing with drug policy in our region and in the country and there’s still so much work to be done. We’re excited to come together to talk about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and to remind folks to get out and vote in November.”

The Festival includes four educational pavilions focusing on the intersection of cannabis policy and culture, hemp and CBD, health and wellness, regenerative agriculture, and cannabis cultivation. Attendees can engage in discussions on the medicinal benefits of cannabis, speak with medical professionals and dispensary owners, and focus their minds with free yoga sessions. In addition to educational programming, NCF also hosts a wide range of exhibitors offering the best cannabis accessories and lifestyle brands.

This year, NCF is hosting a special senior citizens lounge and a Veterans Program in partnership with Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). Program participants have access to onsite lounge space. The NCF Veterans Program offers veterans, reservists and active duty military free passes to attend NCF and special discount codes for festival tickets.

National Cannabis Festival takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the RFK Festival Grounds in Lot 6/7 of RFK Stadium. The third annual National Cannabis Policy Summit takes place at the Ronald Reagan Building on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Policy Summit speakers and panelists will be announced at a later date.

Tickets to National Cannabis Festival start at $45 and can be found at www.nationalcannabisfestival.com. VIP tickets are also available and include entry to multiple events around D.C., all-inclusive drinks and food in a designated lounge at the Festival and comes with an  NCF goody box.
