Swedish-Iranainan singer/songwriter Ayelle is quickly becoming the cool girl on the block with her fierce yet vulnerable lyrics and versatile sound palette. Today Ayelle debuts “Trust,” the first song off her upcoming NOMAD Mixtape due out May 15th.

Produced by New-York based producer Stavros, the new single captures the essence of vulnerability in a relationship through sultry vocals and layered synths, tactfully utilizing the pop/R&B fusion sound she’s best known for.

On the single, Ayelle shares, “Trust” is “about falling for someone against your better judgment, and I wanted to shed light on the tumultuous side of relationships, where you reveal the ugly parts of yourselves to each other and work out your insecurities. It’s always scary to let your guard down, and we tend to self-sabotage when we feel vulnerable, which is the essence of what I wanted to capture in ‘Trust’.”

“Trust” is off Ayelle’s upcoming NOMAD MIXTAPE, which is a collection of songs written over the past two years and an intimate self-reflection where the listener is invited to explore feelings that are sometimes uncomfortable yet essential to one’s fueled growth. It is an invitation to be fearless and stepping out of one’s comfort zone, whether that means physically in the form of travel or emotionally in one’s relationships and personal experiences.

Ayelle’s been steadily rising in the streaming sphere, having been placed in a plethora of playlists including 26 New Music Fridays (the US and the rest of the world), Chill Hits, Chill Vibes, Alternative R&B, various latin music playlists, Pitchfork’s playlist, and Spotify CEO Daniel Ek’s own discovery playlist!

Follow along with Ayelle in 2020 as she prepares to release her most ambitious project to date.
