Rage Against the Machine, a Quebec exclusive at the FEQ!

Quebec City is getting some very special visitors! The legendary Rage Against the Machine will arrive on the Bell Stage of the Plains of Abraham on July 18 for a concert we predict will be unforgettable. This rare appearance will be their one and only stop in the province during this tour.

News of the band’s reunion, announced last November, created a stir among fans, and the rumour mill went wild about the possibility of Zack de la Rocha’s band coming to Quebec City. It is now confirmed! The FEQ is part of RATM’s festival tour, along with Coachella, Firefly and Boston Calling.

“This is a tremendous catch for the FEQ. The buzz about the band’s reunion confirms the public’s enormous esteem for these rap-metal pioneers and the influence they continue to exert. This very first appearance on the Plains will mark a great moment in the history of the FEQ”, underscores Louis Bellavance, Director of Programming.

About Rage Against the Machine
Formed in Los Angeles in the early 1990s, Rage Against the Machine experienced a meteoric rise in 1992 following the release of their first eponymous album, featuring mega hits Killing in the Name and Bombtrack. RATM is an emblematic figure of engaged rap metal. The riffs of guitarist Tom Morello and signature phrasing of Zack de la Rocha has forged the band’s distinctive sound.

Admission
FEQ passes are on sale now for $110, taxes included, plus shipping. Starting June 9, the cost of the pass will be $120, with a limit of 4 passes/cards per transaction. Passes can be purchased at feq.ca
