Who is Lehn Kessen?

“Lehn Kessen is a French music producer, sound engineer, singer and songwriter.

He started hearing the need of music when he was 7 years old, when he took his mom’s cassette player, at the time, and started listening to US type of songs to simply learn English, as this was the music he was going after.

On his first job salary at the age of 14 years old, he bought himself his first keyboard and self-educated himself into music theory. He started working in different youth clubs.

All his moves were toward the music direction as he was always carrying his keyboards, computer, mic to have the kids working on music, writing etc.

Lehn had the chance to travel to the United States of America with his younger brother, where he could meet the Gospel atmosphere, for him it was like meeting Jodeci, Kelly Price, Fantasia Barrino every Sunday.

Kessen was proud to have his first records recorded there with up coming artist that he had the chance to work for.

Now Lehn keeps his way into breaking the walls of the music industry”

As you see yourself, who is Lehn Kessen?

I’m a singer/ songwriter, born in Orsay, France, but I live in the UK since over 6 years.

Tell us about your current project?

I’ve just recently released a new single called “Give Me the Yams” featuring Safarian, French producer and artist which I’ve been working with since over 10 years.

This is an R&B jam with a nice mellow vibe to it. Bringing the old school R&B on a current Trap R&B instrumental.

What’s on your bucket list to accomplish as an entertainer?

I am looking to touch as many people as I can, of course, with my music, my first challenge was to become fully bilingual, I’ve always had influences from R&B groups like Dru Hill, Next, so I wanted to come through as one solo artist doing it all.

I’m looking to build a strong movement around the R&B scene which seems to be lacking in Europe, then collaborate with as many artists all around the world.

What’s on your horizon for 2020?

I’m planning to release a few singles over the next few months, then hopefully release a full project by September.

The Hype Magazine wants to know: What’s been your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?! Or “WTF?!” moment thus far in your career?

The craziest moment so far has been to have the chance to work with artists in France, Los Angeles, Russia, Arizona, and much more to come really soon… I’m really thankful for it all.
