Famous Authors Share Their Quarantine Reads in YouTube’s “Read #WithMe”

YouTube Originals unveiled their new special entitled “Read #WithMe.” “Read #WithMe” is a special episode from YouTube’s critically-acclaimed monthly book club, “BookTube.” This special episode features several celebrities, booktubers, and authors – including Melinda Gates, John GrishamJames Patterson, Elizabeth Gilbert, Nicholas Sparks, Elaine Welteroth, Chelsea Handler, Tituss Burgess and many more – sharing their current book recommendations.

Now more than ever, people around the world are turning to books to help them feel connected. “Read #WithMe” showcases several authors sharing the books they are currently reading – from sci-fi to romance to non-fiction and more, there is something for every reader in this special.

For those using this time to catch up on their reading, BookTube has several episodes for readers to jump into. This special episode will follow episode one featuring Michelle Obama (Becoming), episode two featuring Malcolm Gladwell (The Tipping Point and Talking to Strangers), episode three featuring  Margaret Atwood (The Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments), episode four featuring James Patterson (Alex Cross), episode five featuring Melinda Gates (The Moment of Lift), episode six featuring Bryan Stevenson (Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption), episode seven  featuring Jacquline Woodson (Red at the BoneBrown Girl Dreaming), and episode eight featuring David Sedaris (Calypso).   You can watch all of the BookTube episodes here.
