Speaking on the track, Shamil states: “SOHANA is a really special track to me, it was the last track we got done during our London sessions. Having this be the first single off my tape is really crazy! I’ve been making music for a few years. When we started, my engineer and I would go from house to house in Anchorage just looking for somewhere to record, a couple years later I’m in London working with the people who made the music that shaped me into who I am. I always said I would know when the time is right to drop a project. The moment I knew was when I finished this song.”
