Premiere: After “Critical,” Big Steilo Drops New Joint “Trenches”

St Louis based rapper/songwriter Rodney Paul McGuire, better known as Big Steilo, just released a brand new joint, “Trenches,” a track that talks about his rise from the bottom to the very top, and follows-up to his newly released music video “Critical,” both off his upcoming album Dogpound 2

His introspective approach to rap and straightforwardness are the two elements to explain why he resonates so powerfully with his rapidly growing fan base. Blending trap, conscious rap, and traditional Hip-hop, he magically creates his own form of gangsta rap, encapsulating his vision into a sophisticated sonic experience that flows organically from beginning to end.

In 2011, Big Steilo released his debut hit “Missing you”  with his rap group of the time Take Two. In 2017, his most streamed single gained a star on apple music with “Who Got the Gas,” setting the trend for a fruitful career in rap.

His powerful contribution to the genre won’t go unnoticed with the release of “Trenches,” and “Critical,” paving the way for a resounding success in the coming years, while we impatiently wait for Big Steilo to drop the full album Dogpound 2
