The Trusted Unveil the Infectious Indie Pop Anthem “The Innocent”

UK based band The Trusted return with their highly contagious track “The Innocent.” Featuring crashing percussion, resonating guitars and raspy vocals, the four-piece tell their story about their younger, more innocent days. We all think we know it all as children, but it isn’t tell we start breaking into adulthood, that we realize just how wrong we had it. Our childhood innocence is something so pure, but can often get us into undesirable situations, and The Trusted dive deeper into their own experiences with their youthful naivety.

Singer Tom shares, “I don’t think we are aiming for a certain kind of ‘sound.’ For us, if it sounds and feels good, we follow it. Popular music culture is so layered, it’s really hard to stay in the same lane. With ‘The Innocent,’ we were kind of going for that cinematic indie thing.”
