With tons of Hip Hop artists popping up everywhere every day, the industry has been getting saturated with low quality music. Every once and awhile, an artist like Ellis Prescott comes around and brings a standard so high that blows every wanna be out of the water. He does it once again with his release of “Mario Kart.”
The excellent production and vocal engineering of this single screams quality the moment you first listen. When the song starts, you are met with marimbas that then leads into Prescott’s icy vocals. As most rappers would just rap with a monotone, Ellis Prescott fills the beat with unique melodies and harmonizes with adlibs separating himself as a top tier artist.
Ellis Prescott did a great thing for today’s summer with the release of “Mario Kart”. Giving his fans quality music helps solidify the rap-singer as someone who has greatness in his blood and not just a pretender.
