Multidisciplinary Creative Dugong Jr Teams Up With Rromarin on ‘Float’

Melbourne based multidisciplinary creative Dugong Jr has shared his latest single, ‘Float‘, which features the talents of Melbourne vocalist Rromarin (Kult Kyss, Golden Features, The Presets).

On the new single, Dugong Jr explains, ‘Float was about doing the most with the least.
We wanted to create something that was both subtle and energetic, that still maintained a kind of chill vibe. A UK Garage inspired groove was combined with discrete acoustic instrumentation, contrasted with bold synth lines to create something that felt both contemporary and familiar. At the forefront of the track are Rromarin’s intricate vocal layers, who aside from being an extremely talented vocalist, has a really good ear for details in all aspects of production. She’s always thinking about ways to improve ideas which is always great to be around. Rromarin has been at the top of my list of artists that I’d love to work with for so long, and I’m so happy how organically this track came together.’
