Old City Releases New Single/Video ‘Pipebomb’
Philly Producer Old City has teamed up with chewy, bar-spitting Buffalo rapper Tre Marsh for a new Dead Kennedys-sampling single titled “Pipebomb.”
The track fuses the iconic feedback wash of “Police Truck” with 2001-era Dr. Dre production. In the wake of protests, it comments on the current and untenable reality of racialized police violence and increasing police militarization.
Old City last released ‘Get Sued’ on Hype Magazine last year.
