PREMIERE: NSTASIA And D*L*P Debut Intimate Visual For Pharrell x SoundCloud Select “Couch”

Personally chosen by Pharrell Williams and KP as the lead single off the compilation album, ‘i am OTHER’, Haitian-American singer/songwriter NSTASIA and superstar producer D*L*P combine their unique talents on the woozy yet sultry banger “Couch”, out now with a striking accompanying visual.

Draped in crystals, NSTASIA dances joyfully across a spacious loft evoking feelings of comfort and serenity. She blesses her space with sage and summons a bright positive energy to wash over her. The spell-binding single, released July 10th speaks on finding peace of mind and space to think within the chaos of the world. She sings: “Sometimes / The best thoughts come from right here on the couch.”

The single was one of 12 outstanding songs selected from a contest for Pharrell Williams’ ‘i am OTHER’ and SoundCloud’s “i am OTHER, Volume 1” album, a compilation born from the post-coronavirus outpouring of creativity. It has since landed on Apple’s Alt-R&B playlist and made way for D*L*P to partner with SoundCloud in launching his own label, The Future Will Bang

“The very talented D*L*P sent over a loop and instantly the lyrics and melodies came to me. It inspired me to speak my truth regardless of what others think. Being a part of this amazing compilation motivates me to continue allowing myself to show vulnerability through my music… This is just another confirmation that we are hardly ever the only ones who feel the way we feel.” – NSTASIA

“Producing Couch was special. The energy of the melody just took me somewhere else mentally. NSTASIA always finds a way to inspire when we work. It was amazing to find out we were selected by Pharrell and KP to be apart of ‘i am OTHER’s compilation album, a true honor. In addition, I couldn’t be more happy than to launch my label, The Future Will Bang, with this special single release and to announce my partnership with SoundCloud.” – D*L*P
