Young Zay Says “Adios” to His Haters on New Single

Asylum Records artist Young Zay will release his new EP Flight Risk on September 25th. The 7-song project chronicles the Bronx rapper’s turbulent journey over the past year and how despite the odds he will rise to the top. “The system is designed to keep Black men with a criminal history in a holding pattern, they look at you as a flight risk,” says Young Zay. “This EP was created to fill a void for my fans that’ve been wondering why I haven’t released new music. These rhymes embody who I am as a person, how far I’ve come and how far I want to go. “Adios” is the lead single off Flight Risk and with its aggressive wordplay and drill-heavy production, Young Zay is poised to reclaim the streets. Quickly making a name for himself, 21-year-old Bronx rapper Young Zay is confidently shaking things up and commanding all attention. With being influenced at a young age by music through his uncle, rap battle legend T-Rex and inspired by his favorite rappers Meek Mill, 50 Cent, and Dave East, it’s no wonder why Young Zay was destined to be an influence in the Hip Hop game.

As the new wave of promising, young New York emcees skyrockets, Young Zay has grabbed the attention of listeners with hit singles such as “Check In” featuring Don Q, “Lightshow”, “Truth Or Dare”, and “City Of Love” featuring Dave East. With an immense buzz from his project Airplane Mode and an unmatched work ethic, Zay recently signed a deal with Asylum Records, coincidently on the anniversary date of his best friend’s passing.

While turning his adversity and energy into his newfound motivation, Zay continues to produce a range of quality music that brings out his high energy and introspective sides. Gearing up for his follow up EP Flight Risk, set to release on September 25th, Zay is more than ready to show his full potential and create his own lane in the industry.
