Emerging Chicago Rapper Kredit Announces His Debut Album, ‘ SSGKREDIT’
Emerging Chicago Rapper Kredit has taken a different approach to inspiring his music creation process. Kredit has been making music with his friend for 5 years, what started out as gaming club of like minded Chicago kids turned into the next generation of rap stars “Exit The Premises”
The former gamers turned rap crew includes – Goldenboymnny, Vell Le Villain, SoloCelo, Jae Rio, T3, Prod.Ra and several other affiliates.
SSGKREDIT the debut album from Kredit taps into his interests & emotions from childhood to fuel an album that blends Trap, Drill, Alt-Rock & R&B. As a child Kredit’s father constantly had music playing in the house ranging from NWA, Nirvana, Bill Withers.
The title “SSGKREDIT” was coined from a Dragonball Z reference.
“SSG” stands for super saiyan god, this is a rare, powerful, and flawless form achieved by saiyans in dragon ball z through countless hours of training and emotional trauma that comes from being resilient, fighting your battles and never giving up” explained by Kredit.
This album was recorded in full during Covid 19, Kredit’s influence from Dragonball Z stems from self doubt, people telling him he wasn’t good enough, keeping his head down and perfecting his craft.
