0Jane Handcock Announces Fa Real EP Dropping October 2nd
Jane Handcock is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting voices in music for the new age. Brilliant and witty, her storytelling takes the listener on an incredible journey and deposits them safely on the other side of an energetic ride. Her upcoming project Fa Real is an eight-song ride through with no skips opening with the inspirational FYE, an introspective, and uplifting shoutout to those spiritually-based folks that will still let someone have it right in the snot box if the situation calls for it! The entire project is a showcase of how music is supposed to be, thoughtful, emotional and heartfelt…maybe I lean too much toward the old skool, but man she did it on this offering. Jane hits all the points of the compass and this might be one of those releases that could be called an essential Jane Handcock project.
It may be unusual for a man to rock with a female artist the way I rock with Jane but it’s because all her *ish can be flipped to the male perspective as well. Common ground is found in the call for loyalty, integrity, and empathy. Plus she’s slick with it on the lyrical side and then turns around going all the way songstress, emphasizing that she’s not one to be put in a box.
In case you are not yet familiar, emerging from Oakland, California, Jane Handcock first earned her stripes by writing for A-list celebrities such as Kelly Rowland, Tyrese, and Rick Ross. Now, Jane is firmly anchoring herself at center stage with the new project due out October 2nd and it’s ANOTHER showcase of powerhouse vocals and slick talk!
