Death Row Records x Crooks & Castles Collab

Crooks and Castles launches men’s fashion capsule with legendary Death Row Records Brand. Collection features apparel and accessories suited for a 2020 lifestyle.

Crooks and Castles today announced a new fashion collection with historic Death Row Records, further expanding the global footprint of both brands. The urban-inspired streetwear collaboration has been long-awaited by fans of both brands.

“Crooks & Castles is honored to partner with Death Row Records,” said Steven Nadler, Co-founder and CEO of MLG Brands and partner in Crooks and Castles. “With roots in urban 1990’s Los Angeles and loyalty, creativity and street-hustle as hallmarks of both brands, we believe that a partnership between Crooks & Castles and Death Row Records is a perfect connection.”

Death Row is owned by eOne, and is recognized as one of the most influential record labels in history.  Formed in 1991, the label personified the allure of ‘90s west coast urban street culture and its music. The label went on to release eleven platinum albums, selling nearly 50 million albums worldwide, with releases from Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur and more. Today the Death Row Records catalog is the most distinctive and well-known in Urban/Hip-Hop music.  Credited with popularizing rap into a wider hip-hop audience, Death Row was instrumental in reshaping American youth culture and bringing gangsta rap to the forefront of commercial success.

About the collection

The products will feature customized graphics specially designed to synthesize these two unique and longstanding urban brands. The Medusa-head and record-related graphics will be placed on apparel and accessories that capitalize on the casual lifestyle associated with 2020: tops, face coverings, hoodies, shorts, sweatpants and headwear. They will launch online at www.crooksncastles.com and expand to urban, specialty and boutique retailers throughout North America, Australia and New Zealand later in fall 2020.
