Kamaiyah Unleashes Third Project of 2020 “No Explanations”

Releases lead track and video “STILL I RISE FT. JACKBOY”

GRND.WRK. Founder and Platinum recording artist KAMAIYAH solidified her status as one of  the hardest working hustlers in the game today releasing the ground-breaking  anthem “Still I Rise ft. Jackboy”, alongside with powerful visuals, available now on all DSP and streaming platforms. “Still I Rise” is the first track off her upcoming studio project, No Explanations, available everywhere December 11, 2020. The  acclaimed Oakland rapper has  gifted fans with three successful projects in 2020, showcasing KAMAIYAH’s work ethic and delivering  on the promise that made her one of  XXL’s 2017 Freshman alongside Playboi Cardin and XXXTentacion.

“Still I Rise” and No Explanations arrive shortly after October’s Oakland Nights the critically acclaimed, mixtape collaboration with fellow Bay area native Capolow, which HypeBeast called, “A gift to the Bay Area”  and  who’s lead single “Oakland Nights” premiered exclusively on World Star Hip Hop. This closely followed February’s defiant, Got it Made, which featured streaming hits, “Set it Up ft. Trina” and “Pressure”.

“‘Still I Rise’” is about how we’re all feeling, the times we’re living in are hard, and people try and hold you down, but hard work and hustle will always keep you moving forward. I wanted to put a feature on the song and Jackboy was the only voice I could hear on it. So, when I sent him the record and heard his verse, I knew we had something special!”
