Hip Hop Artist BabyK Plans to Make 2021 His Breakout Year

Nineteen year old Kolin Howard aka BabyK got his initial inspiration for music from a beat he heard online. Quick to write his first studio recording “Forgive My Sins”, it was clear that BabyK was headed on the right path. Initially recorded for Triller, the video would later be put on Instagram to gain tremendous traction with over 6k views. What initially inspired him to create a song to the beat was the little voice in the background saying “Transparent”. It was so catchy that he couldn’t help but hit record. With a background in wrestling, BabyK was taught from a young age the importance of patience and not giving up on your dreams despite any circumstances.

“Forgive My Sins” is about how you’ve got to watch the people around you. He talks about his brother, who is incarcerated, and shows off his lyrical skills with confidence that his style will stand out among other rappers. Posting his music on Triller has really helped him to connect with fans on a larger scale. Every artist has their platform and BabyK is quickly making Triller his. Not looking to anyone as his ‘main source’ of musical inspiration, he feels like he can learn something from everyone and incorporate these lessons into his music.

BabyK plans on making 2021 his breakout year! With plans to drop his first EP, he encourages everyone to stay on the lookout for innovative new music. In 5-10 years he sees great success for his career. Staying focused and driven will be the key to getting from where he is now to where he wants to be.
