Justin Bieber’s Single-Artist Valentine’s Concert on TikTok

On Valentine’s Day, Justin Bieber treated lovers on TikTok to his Journals album’s first-ever performance. The perfectly timed event saw a large viewership on TikTok, and at one time, even had over 200,000 people watching live. So far, the TikTok concert has over 4million unique viewers.

The Canadian singer and songwriter treated his fans to a 40-minute performance where he sang more than ten songs from his 15-songs album. Bieber managed to wow his audience and fans with the help of a great band as he performed in a red-themed candle-lit space.

He began by singing ‘Change Me’ and finished with All That Matters. In between, he crooned several lovers-friendly songs from the same album. Some of them include Heartbreaker, Recovery, One Life, Swap It Out, and PYD, to scratch the surface.

Things that were impossible online in the past are possible today. You can enjoy whole concert, earn money with https://www.americancasinoguide.com/roulette and casino games and get education.

TikTok’s first show

This was the first long-form event to be hosted by TikTok, and if we go by the reviews, the best occurrence of the lover’s day. The singer wore a sweatshirt and mavin cap from his Drew House clothing line as he performed in his Californian-based garage-ish stage.

Most viewers were quick to note changes in the singer from when he released the Journals album. They said he looked more mature, refined as a singer, and had more robust vocals than seven years ago when the album debuted. Despite the changes, he managed the performance so well, proving that he still got it.

Fans commended his performance as they noted his effort to perform such an old album for them. This comes in the wake of frozen live concerts as a measure to help curb the Covid-19 pandemic spread worldwide. There is nothing that bridges that gap like an online performance.

Journals was Bieber’s best album and marked his transition from Pop music to R&B. It is the album after Believe, and it has 15 songs. That is ten pre-released and five brand singles.

This is an album with sentimental songs. It leaves listeners with a blend of nostalgia, pain, hope, and relief. Relief from all that the heart holds deep within, as it entails complete pouring out of the heart. Bieber praises, laments, pleads, wishes, and makes promises all in equal measures in his songs.

Fans are quick to note that Justin is more apologetic in this album. All he seeks is second chances and more of making eternity promises as he learns the value of what he lost or is about to lose.

Off the charts

In 2016, Bieber charted concurrently in positions 1, 2, and 3 in the UK official singles chart history. He was the first artist ever to do that. This he managed with his singles Love Yourself, Sorry, and What Do You Mean.

The only child was born in London, Ontario, and began his music career at 13 when a talent manager discovered him on Youtube, where he used to do cover songs. He would later be signed under Usher’s RBMG Records in 2008.

His first song, My Life, was released in 2009 and topped charts. A year later, he released a debut album that saw seven of his songs topping the Billboard Hot 100.  He has had several collaborations as well and won several music awards. So far, he has over 58 songs with several remix albums and promotional singles.

Since joining TikTok in January last year, the artist has over 20 million subscribers. His account has relatively been dormant before this event, and he only used it occasionally to show some behind-the-scenes events or take up trending TikTok challenges.

He is also the most subscribed musician on Youtube with over 60 million subscribers, and his Journals album has garnered over 3billion streams worldwide. This shows how excited fans were to watch him perform it finally.

As critics would have it, that was not Bieber’s best performance. According to them, the audio had pitch correction software, and he did not sing the entire album. They would have preferred to hear his unedited voice, but still, I believe that was an epic performance.

In a brief statement, Bieber expressed his profound gratitude to TikTok for allowing him to perform the album, citing it as the best work in his music career.
