MUSZETTE Lands Onto the Scene with Massive Debut EP

There’s a rarity when an artist explodes onto the scene with a massive release, but MUSZETTE has done just that with her EP release ‘BIG MOOD’ and delivers what arguable is the best EP for the start of the new year. MUSZETTE may have just launched onto the scene, but the artist behind it, Melanie Taylor, is as seasoned a performer as they come. In leading up to the creation of the EP, the newly rebranded singer described the feeling and urge to make music that showcases the immense energy that she feels from being on stage and performing. It was also at this time that Taylor felt as if her career was becoming stagnant, and decided that the only way to move forward was in writing music that jolted her into a more elevated and energetic headspace. As it would come, 2020 was a time for many of us experience a sense of stop due to the pandemic and the feeling of being stuck, which is why this EP is more important now more than ever to release.

Behind the scenes, Taylor’s tracks have gained both US and International radio-play, garnering hundreds of thousands of streams, and has gained the attention of the likes of Hype Machine, Pop Dust, and more for her infectious music. Most notably, she won the 2017 CES Songwriter Theme Song Competition, and has true hustler spirit behind her as both an artist and an entrepreneur. With just a van, a band, and many helpful friends, she independently organized three different US Tours, as well as her first international tour with a string of performances in Australia during the summer of 2018.
