How Playboy is Celebrating Women’s History Month

This month, in celebration of Women’s History Month, Playboy has partnered with multidisciplinary artist COVL for an original limited-edition crewneck available on Playboy.com.

The limited-edition crewneck sweatshirt entitled “Lady Liberty” is the first of a series of four product collaborations with COVL that Playboy will release over the course of 2021.

COVL, a Miami native, creates work inspired by the festive, diverse, and vibrant Latin culture of her hometown, and uses color and imagination as a way to address mental health stigmas she has experienced in her own life.

“Lady Liberty is me, you, her and all the women who continue to love or are learning to love all their curves and edges,” says COVL of the inspiration behind her first design. “Weeding through the indoctrinations society has made us believe, we as women are feeling up on our one of a kind bodies and pouring into our cups an abundance of imagination, love, and the pleasure that comes with living in our truth.”
