Tripping on Bricks explores the uncertain state of society with new single ‘Tenants’

Originating in Columbia at the University of South Carolina, Tripping on Bricks unifies a variety of audiences with their fresh alt-rock sound. Rooted in meaningful songwriting and catchy guitar hooks, Tripping on Bricks is representative of a new brand of music coming out of Columbia. Their new single “Tenants” is a radio-ready pop rock banger and fans can expect more from them during one of their energetic live shows. Incorporating elements of rock, pop, indie, and alternative, the band has a unique sound that is still evolving. The album Colorblind, Tripping on Bricks’ first full-length project, is available on all streaming services.

Tenants was written during the first Covid-19 lockdown in the US, and explores the emotions of uncertainty and fear in a world where each day is “overwhelming and aloof.”
