Jason Aldean On The Success Of Wolf Moon Bourbon, His “Back In The Saddle” Tour,” Hard Rock Influences, Future Plans & More

Wolf Moon Bourbon is billed as a “brotherly collaboration” between friends and top-selling country artists Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia’s Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley. It was crafted with the intent of helping others “celebrate the feel-good, kick-back moments in life with old friends.” It has been aged in oak casks for 4 years to achieve a alate of caramel, honey, and hints of oak spice. In turn, Wolf Moon Bourbon carries both a sweet and smooth flavor profile, and the bourbon — carrying a low suggested retail price of $24.99 per bottle — can be enjoyed straight-up and/or on the rocks.

Earlier this month, Jason Aldean kicked off his Back In The Saddle tour in Virginia Beach, Virginia with support from HARDY, Lainey Wilson and Dee Jay Silver. On August 6, 2021, I had the pleasure of catching a tour stop of Aldean’s at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey — highlights from that day are embedded below from Instagram — which was presented by the aforementioned Wolf Moon Bourbon. Tour and bourbon success aside, Aldean has stayed on the charts in recent months thanks to new hit single “If I Didn’t Love You,” a duet with fellow superstar Carrie Underwood.

On August 27, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jason Aldean again via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond bourbon, we spoke about how his current tour is going, what a typical day on the road is like for him, his love of music beyond the country genre, and future plans as an entrepreneur. For some context as to my encounter with Aldean backstage in Jersey earlier this month, I left in the beginning of our interaction where I was being re-introduced to the award-winning performer.
