Gideon Adlon On The New Film “Witch Hunt,” Being A Third-Generation Performer, Upcoming Projects, Nicknames & More

In the new film Witch Hunt, we are presented with a modern America where magic is real and witches are persecuted by U.S. authorities. Within that world, teenager Claire and her family are part of an intricate network that helps these women escape across the border to seek asylum in Mexico. However, when their mode of transport is disrupted by federal witch hunters, trouble befalls the family as they struggle to hide two young witches within the walls of their home. Without giving out any spoilers, as witch hunters close in and strange magic begins haunting the family, Claire discovers that she may have more in common with these witches than she could have ever imagined.

Witch Hunt was directed and written by Elle Callahan (Head Count), and stars Gideon Adlon (The Craft: Legacy, Blockers), Abigail Cowen (Fate: The Winx Saga, Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina), Christian Camargo (The Hurt Locker) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, The Expanse). The aforementioned Gideon Adlon has also been seen in Better Things and The Mustang, and has been heard in voice roles as part of Solar Opposites and Pacific Rim: The Black. And Witch Hunt is only one of her upcoming projects.

On September 30, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Gideon Adlon via Zoom, as embedded below. More on Adlon and Witch Hunt — which Momentum Pictures will release to Theaters, On Demand and Digital outlets on October 1, 2021 — can be found by clicking here, here and here.
