Introducing Emerging Artist Ease The Don
Ease The Don is an artist and songwriter from Inglewood, California. His story and message go far beyond his catchy west coast influenced melodies, often writing songs about his community, love, and relationships, being a father, and his plan to make opportunities for his team.
Ease is well connected in the local music scene and has recently gained the support of local curators such as DJ Hed from REAL 92.3, Home Grown Radio. After hearing the music to come, DJ Hed stated “I was ready to come over and say the music was trash, but I can’t deny these records… [Ease The Don] is about to be a big part of the West Coast conversation.”
His debut release “Dancin’ In The Rain” has already racked up 100k streams across DSPs without any major push. The rising LA artist has spent much of last year refining his craft during the pandemic and is now finally ready to let the music speak for itself.

From the outside looking in, who is Ease The Don?
Ease The Don, born and raised in LA, is extremely passionate about the way music can move, change, heal, and motivate the listener. Making music that is not only heard but felt. Ease has a way of making everyone around him feel important and included, knowing everyone has a critical role and position they play on his journey to success.
What was the defining moment that brought you to the music industry?
I had an opportunity to have a studio session with a certified mega hit-making songwriter named Lashawn Daniels who has written hit records for Michael Jackson, Drake, and Beyonce. Lashawn told me that I make hit-worthy records after he listened to my music. That was a defining moment for me.
You are steadily gaining ground in the industry, what is most satisfying for you about the way your music is being accepted?
The most satisfying thing is when people reach out to me and let me know that the music touched them more than most music that they usually hear. People are listening to my songs when they are driving to work, people are working out to my music, so just knowing that I’ve made music to fill certain moments in people’s lives is very fulfilling.
Being multi-faceted, as a songwriter and an artist, which is most dear to you?
The songwriting process is most dear to me because it embodies who I am as a creator. There is nothing better than that moment when you hear the finished result of a song you’ve created and realize you just did something special.
Tell us about your new single “Joog” and what it means for you?
The word “Joog” (title of latest single) can be defined as making a profit with finesse regardless of the consequences and obstacles. Earlier this year, I was in an unfortunate situation where I needed money fast to provide for my family. Many people complain about not having enough money, but complaining won’t land you a check. So, I took that aggressive energy and carried it over to the studio where I recorded this song.
Where would we find you when you are not in the studio?
You can find me spending time with my kids and my family. I have a son and a daughter, the best of both worlds.
Being a father is a massive responsibility, how do you balance the personal with the business?
It’s a special gift to be able to balance being a full time father and still make time to create music and content. I just try my absolute best to always remind myself of what I’m doing this for and who I’m doing this for. It’s very challenging to say the least, but it’s all worth it
What’s the most important thing for us to know about you?
I’m determined to offer the best quality music to my fans and supporters. I’ll never cheat the listener by not giving my full effort with the music creation process.
