Who Is King Chad?
Chadly Francois also known as King Chad is a musical artist out of Sarasota, Florida. Growing up King Chad was raised in Brooklyn, New York with his three brothers. Two of them which are also musical artists as well, Ashley Francois and Young Knight. This year King Chad released an album called “Lost In The ’80s and an EP called Queens Package, alongside a few singles. This is King Chad’s third year in the music industry and he already has four timeless albums so far. King Chad is an upcoming star, he also plans on dropping a single sometime next year and working on his 5th studio album currently. Be on the lookout for this up-and-coming star King Chad.
We wanted to know a bit more about him so The Hype Magazine got King Chad to weigh in on a few things
From the outside looking in, Who Is King Chad the artist?
An athlete which found a career in music industry, with various music styles, such as, Pop and alternative music, HipHop and R&b, Latin music, Reggaeton, lyrical music.
What was the defining moment that brought you to the music industry?
Getting undrafted in the NBA draft, once that door was closed, I needed to put that same energy towards something else. My little brothers Ashley Francois and Young Knight was already doing music so I started making music with them.
Tell us about your current project and what it means for you?
Each year I top my last album, this currently project is definitely going to be my best work.
What’s the most satisfying about making music for you?
Just creating new flows and vibes and being able evolve as an artist, finishing the record is always the most satisfying fleeing.
What do you want your listeners to get from your music?
It’s all from my life experiences, each song is true to me in some shape or fashion.
What’s been the funniest WTF moment thus far in your career?
Their was a show I was performing a few records and I forgot some of my lyrics lol
What’s coming for 2022?
2022 A New album, a few music videos and a few singles.
