Trinidadian “Pop’era” Star Charisse Mills Takes on Entrepreneurship and Reality TV

In this entrepreneur spotlight, we take a deeper look at one of the baddies currently starring in season two of Zeus Network’s One Mo Chance reality dating show, Charisse Mills. Having recently dropped her ‘Bad & Boujee’ line of cosmetics, the Trinidadian Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and Opera Singer/Songwriter paved her way into the entertainment industry by creating her own unique style of music. Flexing her ability to sing opera in six languages (French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish and English), Mills has fused her vocal talent and passion for EDM/pop music to form a music genre called “Pop’era.” Charisse has performed for dignitaries all over the world, including President Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush and the Reverend Jesse Jackson. She also collaborated with Grammy-winning R&B artist Ne-Yo on his 2015 single, “Integrity.”

Charisse’s first single “Champagne,” was co-written with hip-hop artist French Montana, Warren Zavala and Brandon Howard and features raps by Montana. Other singles include “Gypsy Woman,” “Put in Werk,” “One in a Million” and her summer of 2018 anthem, “Champion.”

Charisse and her mother are also the co-founders of C.Moi apparel. The company sponsors the Princess Program, which provides custom-made prom dresses to underprivileged youth. She also recently launched the Charisse Mills Foundation, providing aid to children around the world.
