Super Sema Nominee for NAACP Image Awards

Super Sema, the first African animated superhero series, has been nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Animated Series.

Fueled by STEAM, the Super Sema series follows the world-changing adventures of an extraordinary young African girl, Sema, who lives in the neo African-futuristic community of Dunia. Super Sema was written by four-time BAFTA winner Claudia Lloyd (Charlie & Lola, Mr. Bean, Tinga Tinga Tales), and executive produced by Oscar-winner and NYT best-selling children’s author Lupita Nyong’o.
