Comedian Nicole Arbour Brings Unexpected Heat with Her First Single, “Biddi Bum”

I wanted to hate Nicole Arbour’s new track “Biddi Bum.” I wanted so badly to hate it. Another “influencer” trying their hand at music, likely butchering a track and lyrics created by a struggling artist who sold it for a few hundred bucks. Or made by a producer who had a hit in the ’90s and is trying to ride the coattails of any TikTok wiggler back onto the charts. I had every intention of roasting her “attempt” at music until she was fatally scorched.

But I can’t. Never thought I’d be typing this but “Biddi Bum” by viral Nicole Arbour is straight ’90s era rock/rap fire. The music video, which she directed and co-choreographed, rivals major label production. Her playful IDGAF or take myself too seriously attitude, refreshing.

After the first few bars in the video, I’m somehow reminded of Britney Spears’s “Toxic.” By the time the hook hits, we’ve found the Kid Rock meets Pink meets Doja Cat none of us knew we needed…but we did.

Second verse opens: “I’ve got a bigger d*ck than you and I don’t even got one.” I laughed out loud and replayed it.

“3-6 the size of my BIG T*T ENERGY.” Now we have a legit power anthem for women.

Right as I thought the video was winding down, here comes hot female bikers popping wheelies while Nicole drinks screwball whiskey in front of a wall of fireworks. Damn.

A month online, and this indie artist already hit 2 million views across platforms and debuted at # 12 on the Top 40 for Chicago’s premier digital station “Hits You Love,” which leads to my prediction: “Biddi Bum” is going to be a sleeper track creeping up to hit status as the summer rolls in. This track could go all the way. And when it does, I can see collabs with A-list artists dropping right after.

Donald Glover did it, Jamie Fox did it, and in a complete shocker, Nicole Arbour joins the ranks of comedians who successfully crossed over to music.

2022, yous wild.
