1st Annual Down 4 Lo Week A Success, Shawty Lo Jr. Up Next

When you think about your legacy, what are your thoughts? Many will think of what they can leave behind while others may think of what was left behind.

The objective was to commemorate and celebrate the sunrise of the late Shawty Lo who brought you hits like “Dun Dun”, I’m Da Man”, Dey Know” and “Foolish”. “Down 4 Lo Week”, (D4L Week), was the 1st annual week planned & coordinated by Shawty Lo Jr. CEO of D4L Reloaded Records LLC. He was assisted by Artist Trill 6attle, D4L Jackie aka Ladi Jay and mentored by ‘Checm8’ a long-time vetted industry guru.

The idea was to meet and shake hands with as many people as possible, and connect with as many youth during the day as he could. Following the meet and greet Lo Jr. hit up the town’s nightlife of Atlanta ending each night at a favorite club/lodge of his Father with Mollyworld and 10-15 of her girls, and family.

The week kicked off with Lo Jr. being on the nationally syndicated ‘Ray Daniels’ morning show as he was invited to promote his week of events while reminiscing about his father. Following the interview Lo Jr. and his cameraman Ghost ‘ShotsFiredByStixx’ were taken to see his first billboard placement on I-85 coordinated by Lo Jr’s Publicist Jessica Johnson CEO of Empowered Ink LLC and sponsored by Bread Magazine. Saturday the celebrity basketball game hosted at ‘The Wilson Academy’ was facilitated by Premier Publicist ‘Jessica CEO of Empowered Ink LLC’ and Media Guru extraordinaire ‘Adrienne CEO of Swaggirlicious Media’. The game opened with the ‘Atlanta Ol Skool Drummers’ recreating a memorable moment as these were the same drummers marching behind the late Carlos Walker & family leading him to his final resting place.

Some of Atlanta’s most influential personalities were in attendance, such as V-103’s ‘Lil Bankhead’, ‘Twan Da Dude’, ‘MPR Riche’, Multi Platinum Producer ‘Drummer Boy’, Coalition ‘DJ Filthy Rich’, ‘Elijah Lamar’ from ‘BMF Starz’ series, ‘Wanda’ from ‘South Beach Tow’.
