Young Mommy Drops “Swanky Ma”

Young Mommy just unveiled her new single and video “Swanky Ma”. The Sacramento based rapper, mother of 4, and entrepreneur is determined to create a bigger lane for non-explicit music. By starting a “clean rap movement”, she has begun to release music that can be consumed by parents with their kids around.

“Swanky Ma” is a perky rap anthem that empowers mothers and women alike. For the song, Young Mommy enlisted Dallas rapper Midwest Don to cowrite the lyrics which results in a fun, energetic, catchy song with a high vibe and hopeful attitude on life. The video showcases Young Mommy living out her wildest dreams at home with her family, in her Maserati, and dancing in her backyard. Swagger filled yet down to earth, it’s a perfect nod to moms living out their best lives.

Young Mommy confides, “I want to send a strong message to everyone listening that moms are beautiful and powerful, we just don’t always believe it. We need to be elevated in society for all that we do for our families and that’s what I want people to take away. My vision was to create a song dedicated to moms but that anyone could dance to and enjoy. With ‘Swanky Ma’ I wanted to put moms back on the map in an over-the-top way. To stand out and achieve our goals we have to be bold and walk with swag in our step. I feel so proud to be a mother and deserve the best that life has to offer to run my house, raise loving babies and rock my career.”
