Jonas Brothers Celebrate Opening of Their Family Restaurant Nellie’s Southern Kitchen in Las Vegas

Kevin, Joe, Nick (the Jonas Brothers), and Frankie joined their family to celebrate the official grand opening of Nellie’s Southern Kitchen at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Denise and Kevin Jonas, Sr., and daughter-in-law Danielle Jonas – with daughters Alena Rose and Valentina Angelina – attended the star-studded event. Numerous Jonas Group Entertainment artists including Bailee Madison of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Hayley Orrantia of The Goldbergs, Olivia Somerlyn (LIVVIA), Lanie Gardner, Daniella Mason, Terri Jo Box, and musical group Hello Sister joined the fanfare.

America’s Got Talent stars Hello Sister performed crowd favorites including Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Avril Lavigne’s Sk8er Boi outside of Nellie’s as guests arrived for the celebration. Kicking off the evening of music, Kevin, Sr. surprised guests with a heartfelt performance of Desperado by The Eagles after which his eldest granddaughter Alena Rose later joined him on stage.

LIVVIA, Lanie Gardner, Hayley Orrantia, Daniella Mason and Terri Jo Box performed for the crowd of friends and family. LIVVIA performed her fan-favorite DAMN, followed by Lanie Gardner’s viral rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams. The Goldbergs star Hayley Orrantia performed a cover of The Climb by Miley Cyrus before Daniella Mason took the stage to perform Sixpence None The Richer’s Kiss Me. Terri Jo Box concluded the evening of pop-up performances with her song American Slander.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a taste of the authentic Southern comfort food at Nellie’s including shrimp and grits; chicken and dumplings; biscuits & gravy; Nashville hot chicken sandwiches; Hawg Hill pulled-pork sandwiches; southern rolls with BBQ chicken, creamy mac and cheese and collards in a crispy fried egg roll; and banana pudding.

Nellie’s grand opening coincides with the Jonas Brothers’ residency down the street at Park MGM’s Dolby Live theater.

Nellie’s Southern Kitchen is a celebration of the Jonas family’s matriarch featuring live music with recipes passed down from Grandma Nellie in a unique environment inspired by Kevin Jonas, Sr.’s upbringing in Belmont, North Carolina.
