R&B Songstress Miya Guggs Drops New Single “Fake News”

Unapologetic Billboard-charting crooner Miya Guggs is heating up the summer with her scathing new single, “Fake News,” released on TopNotch Music. Guggs made her stamp with her recent single, “Situationships,” which reached Top 30 on the R&B Single Billboard Charts. Her infectious new rhythmic ballad is now available on all major digital platforms.

Guggs has shared the stage with multi-platinum, award-winning artists such as Tank, Anthony Hamilton, Money Bagg Yo, Latto, Sleazy and more. Her captivating voice is continuously showcased as she expresses vulnerability and intimacy through her writing process. Written entirely by Guggs, “Fake News” speaks to overcoming the hurdles of betrayal while trying to manage expectations. Her new song is splashed with dynamic vocals and musicality as she showcases her range.

Once known as an elite athlete on the basketball court, Guggs decided to fully pursue an independent career as a musical artist. Her talent on the court and devotion allowed her to earn a scholarship to play basketball in her hometown college, Kansas City Community College. Miya is now prepping for the release of her upcoming EP, “Patterns,” as she is set to drop it later in the year.

Her EP will contain a mixture of her existing catalog and new tracks that highlight the negative patterns seen in unhealthy relationships.
