August, The Doer Hopes to Use His Theater Influence on His Debut Album
The rising Saint Louis native artist known as August, The Doer (Formally known as Kindness), is seeking to make an impact in the music industry. August is a faith based artist that says he wishes to “help bridge the gap between Christianity and secular entertainment”.
In his upcoming project and debut album, entitled “THE LOST TRIBE OF JUDAH” being released this Christmas, AUGUST, THE DOER is seeking to incorporate his musical theater background into his project. August comes from a theatrical background and he’s been strongly inspire d by artist such as Kendrick Lamar and others.
August wants to take his theatrical background and lead artist on a journey, a show, and powerful statement in his project. He has many future albums he’s planning on releasing, and will be self produced, and some will feature his band that is in the works, called LOVE.
August, The Doer has many faith based projects lined up including an additional album in 2023 entitled “ELOHIM” and not long after a project he’s envisioned, called “EVIL”.
August used to go by the artist name “KINDNESS” for a few years and he’s released dozens of mixtapes under this moniker and even had some relevant success for a song called “THE JOKER”. But he’s re-envisioned his entire artist concept and is finally releasing his debut album this winter of 2022.
August is planning on touring in the coming months but dates are TBD. August is hoping he can reach many people with his sound and make an impact in the entertainment industry.
August is also planning on releasing other mixtapes in the future. The “RAP 4 MY LIFE” Series and gospel mixtape series will be released periodically.
August also has his own music label and non profit organization named STRAIGHT OUTTA THE WORD. The label and film division is entitled “GOOD NEWZ Entertainment.
His debut album, “THE LOST TRIBE OF JUDAH”, will be about a tribe of people trying to make ends meet in the wilderness. It will have a story line.
