Joonie Releases 4th Album ‘Into the Grey’

Joonie is taking us on a journey with his 4th album release “Into the Grey” dropping September 23rd with his anticipated single “Share My Love” featuring PJ Morton. As a singer and multi-instrumentalist, Joonie has blossomed into a robust talent that we’re excited to see and learn more about. We can always appreciate a well-rounded artist.

“Share my Love” featuring PJ Morton was created from what Joonie describes as a place of tangible fantasy. Starting with a melody, Joonie knew that this single needed two perspectives to add a dynamic that expresses the breath of life that love needs to get back to fun and genuine intimacy.

Born in North Carolina, Joonie moved to the Pacific Northwest, where he found his love for creating music. Joonie’s intentions were to always stay in the background of beautiful music, but his talent was proven to be spotlight worthy and he was signed to Elektra Records at 19 years old. After fully submerging himself in being a student of music, Joonie was ready to pursue music on his own terms and became an independent artist.  Joonie lets new listeners know that if you listened to all four albums chronologically, you’d get a journey that mirrors Joonies own journey in love, life, and triumph. But with the focus on his newest project, he guarantees that although you’re getting classic Joonie, with messages of love and perspective, it’s a version of him that’s naturally wiser. Joonie’s intentionality is seeping through the music, even in the name of the album.  Joonie’s use of the color gray is an ode to wisdom, growth, and self-reflection with the hopes of you finding your answers to your unique life experience within yourself.  Joonie is in a season of growth and evolution and claims that this album “Into the Grey ” is his most personable album so far. Joonie pulls from his love and appreciation of all genres of music to form his own edgy and authentic sound. While all of Joonie’s albums are self-produced, he’s invited Adam Blackstone to co-produce a beautiful song on his new album “Into The Grey ” with collaborative writing efforts from Jay Townsend as well.

Joonie’s work has graced artists such as Tweet, Elliott Yamin, Angie Stone, Ruben Studdard. With inspirations like Nat King Cole and D’Angelo, we’re talking about an artist that is garnering rich influence. And Joonie’s love of music is what he wants to provide to listeners. Romantic love, self love, and encouraging genuine messages are always at the forefront of his gift to his fans and supporters.

You can find Joonie on Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok under Jooniezone, and when you find him make sure to leave a sunflower emoji in the comments as it’s his new symbol of positivity and triumph. Joonie has so much to give us, and his stride has been strong and consistent. Joonie is the indie artist to watch.
